This will be my first blog and hopefully the first new year resolution that I keep. My project for 2010 is to take a photograph a day. The objective of this project is to improve my photography skills and to document the year - a day at a time.

Day 30 - San Mateo Bridge (CA)

The San Mateo Bridge is 7 miles long. When it was built in 1929 it was the world's longest bridge. Today is ranks #25 in the world. I travel this bridge to and from work five days a week. When I first moved to the bay area in 1997 the toll was $1.00. It is currently $4.00 and is going up to $5.00 in July 2010. The nice weather and good views of the bay area come at a price!

This picture is taken from the Foster City side of the bridge. The other side is Hayward. I used Topaz Adjust portrait drama filter on this image.
