This will be my first blog and hopefully the first new year resolution that I keep. My project for 2010 is to take a photograph a day. The objective of this project is to improve my photography skills and to document the year - a day at a time.

Day 25 - Remember Mr. Potato Head?

I struggled to find a subject for today's photo and then came across my Mr. Potato Head keychain. I don't recall the keys that are on it (don't you hate that?) but he is in pristine shape so made for a fun subject. Best of all it took only one shot tonight. I placed him on a mirror (to capture the reflection) and placed white foam board behind. Also used my Canon 430EX II speedlight on camera (pointed to bounce off the ceiling. Canon 24-105mm f/4L lens was set at f/8 and 200 ISO. By the way, I kept him centered since this week's theme is "centered compositions".
